Vielseitigkeit, ein Interesse weit über Musikalisches hinaus, Lebenslust in und neben der Musik zeichnen diesen Menschen aus. Zunächst ist da der leidenschaftliche Pädagoge zu nennen. Schon während des Studiums begann Andreas Hering im Rahmen zweier Lehraufträge zu unterrichten, in Rostock, Weimar und Leipzig.
